In o On?

 

Hola! Avui aprendrem la diferència entre les preposicions "in" i "on" en anglès, posant especial èmfasi en el seu ús amb els transports.

In:

• S'utilitza per a llocs grans o tancats, com ara:

  • Països: I live in Spain.
  • Ciutats: She works in Barcelona.
  • Edificis: The library is in the school.
  • Espais tancats: The cat is in the box.

• S'utilitza per a referir-se a l'interior d'un mitjà de transport, com ara:

  • Cotxe: I sat in the car.
  • Autobús: We got in the bus.
  • Tren: The passengers boarded in the train.
  • Avió: She boarded in the plane.

On:

• S'utilitza per a superfícies o llocs petits, com ara:

  • Mobles: The book is on the table.
  • Carreteres: The car is on the street.
  • Parts del cos: The hat is on my head.

• S'utilitza per a referir-se a la part superior d'un mitjà de transport, com ara:

  • Bicicleta: I sat on the bike.
  • Cavall: She sat on the horse.
  • Motocicleta: He sat on the motorbike.

Consells:

• Pensa en la mida del lloc. Si el lloc és gran o tancat, utilitza "in". Si el lloc és petit o una superfície, utilitza "on".
• Pensa en la posició. Si estàs a l'interior del mitjà de transport, utilitza "in". Si estàs a la part superior del mitjà de transport, utilitza "on".

Recorda:

• "In" s'utilitza per a llocs grans o tancats, a l'interior dels transports i períodes de temps llargs.
• "On" s'utilitza per a superfícies o llocs petits, a la part superior dels transports i dies de la setmana.
